The Singapore National Youth Orchestra’s end-of-year concert is
a celebration of dance music through the years. From Gluck’s
classical opera Orpheus and Euridice, Vienna’s dancehalls, Ravel’s
infamous Bolero to the Caribbean rhythms of the rumba, there’s
much rhythmic vitality and foot-tapping moments to be savoured.
Also enjoy a rare performance of Jacques Ibert’s witty Flute Concerto.
